Alethea Implementation Strategy
Clarivate teams strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We assign a project manager to guide the customer from planning through to project completion and Go Live; representing an initial launch of Alethea. This is done while collaborating to create a mutually agreed-upon plan for the project scope, roles, and timeline during the implementation. We take a service-oriented approach, whereby Clarivate provides guidelines and, based on the customer’s input and data, performs the initial configuration and third-party integration setup, provide guidelines for the relevant workflows implementation. Training is generally Web-based and is planned as part of the implementation project.
Implementation Project Lifecycle
The Clarivate implementation strategy leverages the extensive implementation experience and technical knowledge of our staff, enabling our customers to bring Clarivate solutions into production mode efficiently and effectively.
The active implementation will start after a preparation phase where the customer will gather a project team and key stakeholders, plan an adoption approach, including a planned initial launch (Go Live) date (typically beginning of a new semester) and, based on clear Clarivate requirements, prepare the technical inputs required for the system setup. The active implementation will start about 10 to 14 weeks before the agreed Go Live and will include: activation, configuration, integration with a third-party learning management system (LMS), training, and testing.
We use commercially pre-trained Large Language Models as part of our information retrieval and augmentation framework. Currently, this includes the use of a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture among other advanced techniques. While we are using the pre-trained LLMs to support the creation of narrative content, the facts in this content are generated from the sources uploaded by instructors.
We prioritize the security and privacy of customer data with several robust measures. All data, whether it’s stored or being transferred, is encrypted to ensure maximum security. Access to data is strictly regulated based on user roles, meaning only authorized users can view the data. When interacting with the Large Language Model (LLM), only the content input by users is transmitted, excluding any personal data. Any content uploaded to Alethea is not used for training the LLM, ensuring the data remains confidential and secure.
